Greetings Gentlemen, there is no need to be unkind in your words, if I misquoted the meanings of talmud, than say so, so I can be corrected?
But instead Dave you say more details of certain Jews, do this and other certain Jews do that. That is not fair, and so one cannot make an overall assessment of an assembly of people. There are over 15 groups of SDA people that I know of. Some have different views of the HS as a being. Many have varying opinions of the dress code, the use of coffee and alcohol and some have differences in theology doctrines too. Some also keep feasts and some do not. Some are more strict torah observers and other more liberal.
Richard I do not go around attacking people's views. If you think this, that I have spent two years attacking Dave just for the fun of it, than we can end this forum right here right now. At least Dave is willing to talk to me, and I admire that from him. If I email a theological concern to my local or other SDA Pastor, I get one email only 6 months later, and than nothing else. I cannot discuss any theological concerns within my own church assembly, you cannot even talk to an SDA person at length. They refuse. If you book to see the Pastor for a discussion about a problem, he refuses to talk to you. So Dave is the only person in the world so far (I have had a few others) who is courageous enough to talk, about Scripture, and I admire that from him. So if you think it's time to stop, we can stop. If we were both on the same page, I wonder how many posts we would have ? lots less?
D"Talmudic Jews do not believe in the spirit – to them is all about the law
Hasidic Jews – believe in the spirit – and are the first to be Messianic Jews
But you have so much academic respect for the Judaism you just mix it all together
R" Hmm?
Concern Brethren SDA's is about the torah law, strictly adhering to EGW advice on dress code, health message, music standards and other finer details of the SDA message.
New Seven Day SDA's is more liberal and do not read Ellen White anymore, so the Sabbath School lessons no longer have Ellen White quotes in them, this movement is the majority of SDA people world wide, and pushing other conservative groups out, causing splinter groups.
My sister follows a SDA group so strict you cannot talk to her about it, cannot email her, hardly talk to her about it, you cannot email the organization either and discuss matters, and yet all these groups attend the same basic SDA groups, but my sister attends private assemblies and so are separate from the mainstream SDA movement these days.
Dave I am aware of the 4 basic Jewish sub-groups you speak of, and the variety of beliefs each sub-group has, but one has to make overall assessment summary. Did you not read my words ? Obviously You read only some words and neglected others....
What R" posted" Correct me if I am wrong, but in child like summary the Jews follow the torah and the talmud.
The bold word here was "summary" and the presentation was for "child like" hence lacked details.
So in general SDA groups observe Sabbath keeping, law keeping and Ellen White messages.
However in detail, there are many variations of subgroups who do things differently. However one has to make an overall summary, and this is what a summary is?
Care to explain this Bible passage than?
Isa 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men.
And in my child like eyes and thinking Dave, having knowing little of Jewish things, when I read about Og an archon surviving on the ark Noah built, excuse me, but this seems like the precept of men. Not found in the Moses torah.
Now I am not attacking your views or Jewish views, if such an account is fine to you, that is great. But to me reading stuff like this Og Archon hanging onto a boat in a big flood, seems weird. Not in the Moses torah.
Now you can get fined $1000 dollars for discussing corona virus issues with others during the NSW lockdown, you cannot walk further than 6 km from you house, you cannot lie down on the beach, you cannot go to any shops except COles or Wollies. You cannot bag the government. You cannot stand peacefully at a demonstration rally either. You cannot have parties. You cannot walk together. You cannot talk to the shop assistant in Coles.
I am currently reading about primer design of the polymerase chain reaction testing you do for this virus.
Assuming the virus is real, and of the 6 species associated with coronavirus (63 sub species in total)
When the white blood cell learns to make antigens to attack viruses in this family, is not the info stored in the DNA as ATGC letters of code?
SO if you design a 20 base primer for the PCR test, how do you know the primer does not latch onto already existing DNA strands of white blood cells that made code similar to the primer you created?
That is my question to my biologist friend so far. (Cannot find references on the www about this)
Secondly I have not seen any link to listing the whole 60,000 code base pairs of the virus. Where is this list, and which of the 20 base pairs is the primer made from? Please list examples of such primers.
If you wish not to discuss theology any more, than we can discuss virus matters, since Australia is in lock down over science issues that are supposed to be of biological importance to us.
I also learned from the USA that mandate is issued to the vaccine companies that they have 2 weeks to disclose all ingredients, which peer review journals why these ingredients are used,
I will be interested in why graphene oxide is used as an adjuvant. These tiny razor blades rip open cells and cause massive blood clotting, as some countries have done on dead COV19 victims.
Shalom
