R Either you believe in polysmemy OR you don't. I don't. Jeff doesn't and Martin Luther didn't. Sure Hebrew word meanings are broad, never specific and narrow, like Greek is.
However sometimes Greek is limiting.
Hebrew has 4 words for sheep , Greek has only 3 words. Hence confusion in translation.
Why 4 words - why not just sheep - why 3 words - why not just sheep
Modern English has about 250 words for sheep(Wiki) List of sheep breeds
aproximately 250 different names, descriptions, and identifiers for one word - sheep
D” The problem is – it takes 50 English words to cover all aspects if πληρόω meaning
R Hmm? Maybe, what is wrong with “fill”.
How full is that – ½ full – ¾ full – almost full – or filled to the top
Mat 5:17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. (KJV)
Mat 5:17 “I AM come to fill (up the torah teachings).
Your one word just became 5-6 words - to fill (up the torah teachings
And you still haven’t told me how full is that
D” The problem is – it takes 50 English words to cover all aspects if πληρόω meaning
D” Jesus spoke of Beelzebub as if everyone understood who he was speaking of
R Correct, Jesus was familiar with Jewish ways, does not mean He supported those ways.
Correct the kabbalah was common knowledge by the Jews of the First century
And those scrolls were kept in the temple Library along with theTorah
D” Agree – that was the hardest one for the Jew to accept
R Correct, because Jews only see YHWH as cardinally ONE.
It is so sad that after all this time you just keep repeating the same religious myth
You have ZERO evidence of your sdtatement except ypou onr Christian opinion
All Jews see God as a duality – male and female shekeinah
You can pretend that your Christian opinion is more valid that what the Jews actually believe
Your doctrine supersedes scripture every time

R Prophecy is just one thing a prophet must get right, but so is every word has to agree with the torah of other prophets long ago.
Not studied EGW prophecies for long time:
In 1902, she warned that the cities around the bay area of California would suffer disaster
As far back as 1864, when the medical world
The following statements, so contradictory to the views of her day, are a brief extract of what she wrote on the issue.
This is perhaps the best fairest link of her work as a prophet. A good read.
Really - do you want to compare prophetic men that have had correct predictions
I can quote 100s of them – youtube is filled with them
Edgar Casey has absolutely the best accuracy record – 4500 readings – and less than 90 seem confusion or unexplained
Edgar Casey is not an SDA – in fact He did not attend any church regularly (except his family were all Southern Baptist – as all in a southern a one church town)
Edgars Casey spoke of reincarnation – and the Journey of the soul – very Jewish kabbalah
D” Why don’t you follow him? (Joseph Smith – Mormons)
R Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
The link above explains what a true prophet must do
What did Joseph Smith do – that failed your definition?
He made prophesies – that came true
He performed 17 public Miracles
He was able to see God and Jesus standing hand in hand
And He wrote an entire New Testament of Jesus Christ
Have you read it – read any of it
More importantly – have you studies any of it
It is extremely ahl in tone and context - It disagrees in no way with the ahl
It just continues after the Resurrection – as Jesus witness to the “Lost Tribes of Israel”
In the Americas
This far surpasses the wife of an Elder of a failed prophesy group called the Millerites
Mormons do not follow the Hebrew Torah.
Give me an example –– anything except Saturday Sabbath
if you are so sure
