This is the Roman editIn the beginning God created everything Gen 1, 1 Cor, Col Isaiah clearly say – God made the light and the dark – the good and evil – the TOV and RA The Jews accept this on face value. In the rabbinic commentary about Free Will Rabbi Shurpin said: An angel fulfilling its divine duty is hardly in conflict with its own Creator. Read more: ponderingconfusion.proboards.com/thread/391/angels-free#ixzz61C7724GwThe Catholics come along and admit this at first – but begin selective editing the theology First they say it all happened in the gap long before man It was so long ago they have stopped teaching it Then as Rome gathered all the texts from around the known world And Canonized the “inspired works” – but anything relating to the Archon was edited Not only did Rome create the NT they created the Roman Index (a list of writing we are never to read – and they were to be burnt wherever found) Giordano Bruno (Wiki) At the age of 17, he entered the Dominican Order at the monastery of San Domenico Maggiore in Naples, taking the name Giordano, after Giordano Crispo, his metaphysics tutor. He continued his studies there, completing his novitiate, and became an ordained priest in 1572 at age 24. During his time in Naples he became known for his skill with the art of memory and on one occasion traveled to Rome to demonstrate his mnemonic system before Pope Pius V and Cardinal Rebiba. In his later years Bruno claimed that the Pope accepted his dedication to him of the lost work On The Ark of Noah at this time.BUT - and when a copy of the banned writings of Erasmus, annotated by him, was discovered hidden in the convent privy. When he learned that an indictment was being prepared against him in Naples he fled, shedding his religious habit,The Prayer of Paul is listed on the Roman index How can the Apostle Paul be responsible for 85% of the NT Canon and write heresy at the same time? Paul’s prayer sound just like any other except – in it He says ‘tell what no Archon has heard’ Was this rejected because Paul is a heretic? No – because it acknowledges the reality of the Archon The Nag Hammadi text were discover in 1945 and the Dead Sea scrolls 1947 Both of them say they were hidden for the end generation Both of the teach us of the Archon and how to war against them The Nag Hammadi is full of John, James, Peter, Phillip, Thomas, Paul and others All of these men have text in the NT Canon (except Phillip) All of these men talk of the Archon A few of the text within the Nag Hammadi were known to Rome and are on the Index of edit Regardless of inspiration – these authors knew Jesus Christ in the flesh. Talked with Him and learned from Him directly. I will take their words over any Catholic Saint, Pope, Cardinal, Bishop, Elder, Deacon, or Priest The end result of the Roman Thought Police pressing the edit for 2000 yrs = Evil doesn’t exist – or some other creator created it – or perhaps man created it

Greetings Dave, this thread proves valuable to both of us, for it raises the question can the current Bible we have be trusted at all, since it is claimed to be a Roman Catholic Edit. Hence your reason to trust Gnosticism.
First you need to prove that the Bible is edited by Rome. The exclusion of the noun "archon" is very interesting. How do you know the Gnostic writings weren't edited?
How do you know if anything written is trustworthy? Does Scripture answer this question?
Personally I can see why a Satanic being would want to write about Archons, to prevent attacks on Him as a Devil, and thus avoid condemnation. How do we know Jews aren't also deceived ? In this pondering of confusion, how do we know anything for certain?
You mention Coptic people dying for their faith, sounds like Gnostic writings have merit. But didn't millions also perish in the Dark Ages, for something like the Geneva Bible in their hands? Doesn't these who died, also prove that their faith has merit? In this pondering of confusion, how do we know anything for certain?
You will have to present this thread, as I have not studied this claim before, but am interested in it, for you raise the trustworthiness of Scripture as in the KJV Bible.
You begin with a hypothesis:
Either GOD is love or God is not love, GOD can't be both
Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things.
Since GOD creates both TOV and RA, GOD cannot be a God of love, hence this verse was edited by Rome? Is this what your saying. God must be as Jews say of both love and hate, or both good and evil. As they say GOD disdains the evil, but loves the good. Personally I cannot accept a GOD like this, and I find the problem is in understanding this verse.
When you come across an apparent Bible contradiction, doesn't Chuck Missler say find the Bible discovery? Doesn't Scripture say to add line upon line, here and there across the entire Bible, not just focus on a single verse, as you and Jews do.
How many verses talk about love and GOD? Heaps How many talk about GOD doing both tov and ra? One
The problem is the word "bara" meaning create or engineer. Why is light formed but darkness created? This darkness is special too "choshek" ? What does it mean?
Doesn't Chuck talk about "choshek" as a place? in the gap? In the NT isn't this darkness known as the Abyss?
Re 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
And this Hebrew word is found in the OT:
Job 26:6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. 7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
This sounds like the earth was made with "Abaddon" in the gap... Ge 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness""choshek"" was upon the face of the deep.
so what is this place?
Job 31:12 For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.
Here Job speaks of this darkness as a place where sinners go, and talks about him upholding the torah rules...so he doesn't go to this darkness""choshek"" ...
Read the comments of Job about this darkness""choshek"" ...
Ps 88:11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness "emanuah" in destruction "choshek"? 12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? 13 But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee. 14 LORD, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?
This verse also give us strong clues to the meaning of choshek.... its a place based on relationship... sinners go there, those you support "emanuah" GOD do not.
Notice the context of the passage, grave, soul, faith, dark, prayer...all based on the theme choshek.
Pr 15:11 ¶ Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?
Again, choshek is a place of choice, you go there if you sin, if you support GOD by faith, you don't.
So this is pretty clear, what does the NT say about this term?
So I see this term "choshek is a place of choice" created by GOD, yes, because some beings who sinned originally placed GOD on trial, so this choice place was engineered so "sinning could be observed for a probationary time".
So according to my studies of the Bible, GOD is a GOD always and only of TOV, or love. The RA and its choice of darkness, is a place created especially for those missing or sinning, and is a probationary time, as GOD, the most High is challenged by the first sinner. And as my friend the Jew, Einstein says, RA does not exist, it is a special condition created by GOD so those missing can be observed for a time.
So as you present your case that the Bible cannot be trusted, I am all ears... I find that ROME may edit a few verses here and there, but what is the chances of removing every theme, line upon line, and thus removing the truth from God's message? Near zero...not possible to remove truth if you use this technique.
I only looked up a few references...other Hebrew words could also cross reference this truth, hence the probability for truth increases as you reference each line upon line.
Start with all the references to the word "Archon", you mention Solomon using archons to build the temple... where is this? is this a scroll? so the entire scroll is trustworthy?
Shalom my friend

Perfect Question – Claimed? – the Catholic OT and NT is 100% organized, canonized, and commentaried-ised 100% by ROME – then Rome has had 1500 years of authoritarian thought police control over populations. The Coptic standard Bible is very much our agl – but they also have much more they keep in their ‘Broader Canon’ – like Enoch and Jubilees The Jews have the Tanak – which is not the same as the Catholic OT – but they also have much more they hold on the side – Talmud, Zohar, Mid-Rash sections, etc Even Islam – has the Koran – but most of their religious practice comes from the Hadith Roman Christendom is a product of its Own OT Canon and its Own NT Canon – PLUS – the writings of St Jerome, St Augustine, Pope Leo XIII, - to this Protestants ADD even more – Calvin, Luther, Scofield, Morris, Ellen White, etc etc, = all of this flavors / taints / affects – our current understanding – our current view .. in all this confusion we ponder, GOD judges you by the light you know... Perfect Comment – in our walk with the HS as our guide we begin to grow in understanding – why? – because the HS is the guide! I went to church with my mommy. Then I went on my own. I began to study to know the Lord, to improve my walk – and what did I find Christmas, Easter, and church history. Because my understanding grew – I cast off Dec 25th, I cast off Spring Equinox Easter, I cast off Sun day Sabbath. Gnostic Gospels (as they are called) have 0% relationship to any ancient pagan religion – other than vocabulary (Pists Sophia) Gnostic Gospels were discovered in 1945 – in the Nag Hammadi Library Just like the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947 Both exist in fragmented form – and incomplete This is why the Nag Hammadi literature is so rough to read When the Gospel of Mathew was canonized – they had more than 100 copies to compare – the differences appear in the “marginal readings / notes” – put them all together and they read smoothly and well written The Nag Hammadi was deliberately buried around 250AD – 4 of the text clearly say this information is for the generation that will have to face the end time battle (they say ‘end- of days’) They are written by the same authors as the agl (the most important documents) – the same guys that walked and talked with Jesus before and after his Resurrection I don’t know if they were edited – but Peter sure is anti-Rome How do I know if anything is trustworthy? For me – IMO – scripture does answer this: Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you. IMO = 1Th 5:21 prove all things; hold fast that which is good; WHY did you stop going to church? Could you just sit there with praise in your heart – or – couldn’t you help rejecting the BS (in case you don’t know – in American Religious talk BS = Bull Shit) Christendom Mythology. Then when you did say something – they choose tradition over gnosis The only difference between you and I = Joh 14:26 “ … bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.”I say God witnesses through all creation – NOT just the Catholic Canon Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith. Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness; 19 because that which is known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse: :21 because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened. Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Science says – Intelligent design (but no God) Science says – Evolution (but no God) God says – OK Western Roman Christendom – be homosexual I see God’s handiwork everywhere – it all points to the creator

The Copts have never been at war with anyone The Copts are being murdered by Muslims The Dark ages were Catholics vrs Jews, Catholics vrs Moores, then Catholics vrs Protestants Modern Christian Bibles are a composites of as many as ancient sources as possible. The 1611 KJV is only a product of one Greek text – Texus Receptus (Luther’s Bible, Tyndell) – it include at least 20 verses that are not found in any other manuscript - between all the other manuscripts there are differences between them as well. I want as much data as possible – any hypothesis made on a limited data set is skewed I guess it depends on how you see the application of LOVE As a parent – some love is tough love (comes across real harsh sometimes to a child – eating his vegetables – not allowed to play with the rifle – can’t stay up all night and play – or do your homework) As a parent – loving my children – I still got angry when they disobeyed Deu 9:8 Also in Horeb ye provoked Jehovah to wrath, and Jehovah was angry with you to destroy you. Exo 15:7 And in the greatness of thine excellency thou overthrowest them that rise up against thee: Thou sendest forth thy wrath, it consumeth them as stubble. Exo 32:10 now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: Shall I go on – I can list at least 26 more As an example – I offer the prayer of Paul – It is listed on the Roman Index – meaning it was to be burnt along with its owner wherever found What is wrong with this prayer? The Nag Hammadi Library
The Prayer of the Apostle Paul Translation by Dieter Mueller (Approximately two lines are missing.) ... your light, give me your mercy! My Redeemer, redeem me, for I am yours; the one who has come forth from you. You are my mind; bring me forth! You are my treasure house; open for me! You are my fullness; take me to you! You are (my) repose; give me the perfect thing that cannot be grasped! I invoke you, the one who is and who pre-existed in the name which is exalted above every name, through Jesus Christ, the Lord of Lords, the King of the ages; give me your gifts, of which you do not repent, through the Son of Man, the Spirit, the Paraclete of truth. Give me authority when I ask you; give healing for my body when I ask you through the Evangelist, and redeem my eternal light soul and my spirit. And the First-born of the Pleroma of grace -- reveal him to my mind! Grant what no angel eye has seen and no archon ear (has) heard, and what has not entered into the human heart which came to be angelic and (modelled) after the image of the psychic God when it was formed in the beginning, since I have faith and hope. And place upon me your beloved, elect, and blessed greatness, the First-born, the First-begotten, and the wonderful mystery of your house; for yours is the power and the glory and the praise and the greatness for ever and ever. Amen. Prayer of Paul (the) Apostle. In Peace. Christ is holy.

How do you know if anything written is trustworthy? Does Scripture answer this question? How do I evaluate anything – I am science trained Statistical analysis is a component of data analytics. Statistical analysis involves collecting and scrutinizing every data sample in a set of items from which samples can be drawn. A sample, in statistics, is a representative selection drawn from a total population. As each data point is evaluated it is weighted accordingly as Mean, 1sd, 2sd or an outlier I make this same application – to my cosmology – take it all – shake it up and evaluate the data A mean emerges = One creator – one plan – one will – one God (Capital G) – a Trinity male / female – a duality TOV / RA – Good / Evil - Yin / Yang – in physics is is positive and negative – in quantum physics it is spin up and spin down – in creation it is Negentropy and entropy In my 1sd (97%) agreement = the message to the 1% Torah / Gospel Oral – ahl, agl written, Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity, E=mc2, 10 dimensionalism – 3 dimesnsionalism – multiple heavens - the Reality of the Elohiym / Pleroma / plural In my 2sd = church – archon / Jinn / demons – others gods of the 99% - Jewish Kabbalah – Islam – UFOs – aliens – both current and ancient Then on the fring of acceptability – the writings from the 99% I see my Creator everywhere – in my microscope – in my genetic research – from my own government’s special relationship with Israel / Saudi Arabia – Iraq – China This all gets thrown into the data set – my scripture is alive and it speaks to me from many sources With this data I – 1Th 5:21 prove all things; hold fast that which is good Because Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.

Interesting reading Dave...
The Copts have never been at war with anyone The Copts are being murdered by Muslims
Tell me more about these people. What did they believe? Paste whole slabs of their writings here? What language does Coptic look like originally? Was it a translation from Greek originally?
Dave: "Deu 9:8 Also in Horeb ye provoked Jehovah to wrath, and Jehovah was angry with you to destroy you.
Watching your videos has added something's to my experience, I shall not forget...one was the Rabbi comments on Job...
Sometimes we get angry because we don't have the experience to deal with people in a loss, we can't change their experience and feel negatively about it. Job's friends were overwhelmed...
I think GOD feels this too at times...if we walk away from GOD into more confusion, it becomes hard for GOD to make us listen to Him...its a righteous angry...not one that does sin or RA...
after what is RA, and its simile "choshek" ? A place of choice, where relationship to GOD is created...if you have a supporting relationship to GOD, you get no choshek or RA if you walk away from GOD in relationship you get choshek or RA.
Dave: How do I evaluate anything – I am science trained
This all gets thrown into the data set – my scripture is alive and it speaks to me from many sources
I am science trained too, and evaluate everything, but unlike you, I don't rely on many sources... because Scripture says NOT to... I think it does?
To the torah it says, the first five books of Moses, first...the narrow meaning of torah. Than use the broader meaning of torah, all OT and NT.
Are not the words in the KJV 5 books the same as the Jewish tanak 5 books? Is this true? Same Hebrew words, exactly? Are not KJV Genesis and Jew Genesis the same words?
We evaluate truth from here... the Ancient Hebrew too. Now a dead language.
Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
The word torah here is the 5 books of Moses. Written in Ancient Hebrew, if we check.
Quote: "Grant what no angel eye has seen and no archon ear (has) heard, and what has not entered into the human heart which came to be angelic and (modelled) after the image of the psychic God when it was formed in the beginning, since I have faith and hope.
This prayer line, can I see it in the original script? Why isn't the word "X" translated ? or is English "archon" correct? When I see "archon" I see English "prince"?
Comment on what Paul is praying here?

marcion.sourceforge.net/nag-hammadi-library/prayer-of-apostle-paul-en.html#transl
If you read the interlinear,
(gk) ⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ archon
What isn't the Greek word (gk) ⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ archon translated as "prince"? in English, why leave the word in Greek as an English word?
(1/25)-(1/29) ⲉⲣⲓ- 1-23 (gk) ⲭⲁⲣⲓⲍⲉ 4-xarizomai ⲛⲧⲁⲕ 3-45. ⲙ- 3-262. ⲡ- 3-80. ⲉⲧⲉ- 3-362. ⲙⲡⲉ- 3-199a. ⲃⲉⲗ 1-28 ⲛ- 3-262. Again the Coptic look sort of Greek? So if I am translating this word apxwn, I would translate this as "prince" or "first-prince" ?

NO – (Wiki) The Old Testament (abbreviated OT) is the first part of the Christian biblical canon, which is based primarily upon the twenty-four books of the Hebrew Bible (or Tanakh), a collection of ancient religious Hebrew writings by the Israelites. he second part of Christian Bibles is the New Testament, originally written in the Koine Greek language. The books that comprise the Old Testament canon, as well as their order and names, differ between Christian denominations. The Catholic canon comprises 46 books, and the canons of the Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Churches comprise up to 49 books[2] and the most common Protestant canon comprises 39 books. The 39 books in common to all the Christian canons correspond to the 24 books of the Tanakh, with some differences of order, and there are some differences in text Christ said he would build his Church upon Peter – St Mark was Peter’s scribe – they ended up in Egypt. Peter wrote from Babylon – a small Egyptian town outside of Alexandria (Rome wasn't called Babylon for another 800 years) St mark became the First Pope of the Coptic Church (Patriarch of the See of St. Mark) First Council of Nicaea, 325AD, presided over by Alexander I of Alexandria, 19th Pope of Alexandria The First Council of Constantinople, 381AD, presided over by Pope Timothy I of Alexandria, 22nd Pope of Alexandria The Council of Ephesus, 431AD presided over by Pope Cyril of Alexandria The Council of Chalcedon, 451AD presided over by Saint Anatolius -the first Patriarch of Constantinople – and a marriage between state and church was agreed (Wiki – Coptic persecution) In 451 A.D., following the Council of Chalcedon, the Church of Alexandria was divided into two branches. (Those who followed Rome and those who remained true to their Gospel) St. Mark the Evangelist is said to have founded the Holy Apostolic See of Alexandria and to have become its first Patriarch. Within 50 years of St. Mark's arrival in Alexandria, a fragment of New Testament writings appeared in Oxyrhynchus (Bahnasa), which suggests that Christianity already began to spread south of Alexandria at an early date. By the mid-third century, a sizable number of Egyptians were persecuted by the Romans on account of having adopted the new Christian faith, beginning with the Edict of Decius. Beginning in AD 284 the Emperor Diocletian persecuted and put to death a great number of Christian Egyptians. This event became a watershed in the history of Egyptian Christianity, marking the beginning of a distinct Egyptian or Coptic Church. It became known as the 'Era of Martyrs' and is commemorated in the Coptic calendar in which dating of the years began with the start of Diocletian's reign. When Egyptians were persecuted by Diocletian, many retreated to the desert to seek relief, though relief of the spirit and of its worldly desires to attain peace and unity with Christ the Creator, not escaping the persecutions. The practice precipitated the rise of monasticism, for which the Egyptians, namely St. Antony, St. Bakhum, St. Shenouda and St. Amun, are credited as pioneers. Copts lead the Church until 451AD Then Rome persecuted the Copts - and the copts saved evenrything and retreated into the desert and invented monasticism - self denial - seeking the lord alone in silance St Francis is Rome's 267th Pope - Copts are on 119 - which seems more stable to you? Coptic is Egyptian Greek. The books and tapes to learn Coptic are addressed to an Egyptian speaking audience – I have looked at it – played with it – buy understand it NOT Why isn’t the Nag Hammadi text smooth and polished like the afl – because it survives only as : Thank you Rome

St mark became the First Pope of the Coptic Church (Patriarch of the See of St. Mark)
Why would Coptic people elect a Pope over them? Is this necessary? Why use a Catholic title?
First Council of Nicaea, 325AD, presided over by Alexander I of Alexandria, 19th Pope of Alexandria
So this council had nothing to do with the Roman Catholic Church?
Loved the images, and text. Thanks.
You didn't answer my question: Why isn't the Greek word (gk) ⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ archon translated as "prince"? in English, why write a Greek word as an English word?
For example: "Grant what no angel eye has seen and no "princely ear" (has) heard, and what has not entered into the human heart which came to be angelic and (modelled) after the image of the psychic God when it was formed in the beginning, since I have faith and hope.
Comment on what Paul is praying here?
Please past some material written by the Coptic people?

Rob: 'Are not the words in the KJV 5 books the same as the Jewish tanak 5 books? Is this true? Same Hebrew words, exactly? Are not KJV Genesis and Jew Genesis the same words? Dave: " NO theisraelbible.com/bible/genesis/chapter-1Looking up Gen 1:1-5 I find 1 When Hashem began to create heaven and earth— 2 the earth being unformed and void, with darkness over the surface of the deep and a wind from Hashem sweeping over the water— 3 Hashem said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 Hashem saw that the light was good, and Hashem separated the light from the darkness. 5 Hashem called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, a first day. First I find the Hebrew letters are the same as Jeff Benner lists them. Second this translation is poor. It's not strictly translating Hebrew. Why is Hashem termed for Elohiym? Verse 5 Schroeder, Jew says this should read "And there was evening and there was morning, day one". "sweeping" a better correct Hebrew word is "fluttering" like a bird does. "the word ruwach" as wind? is this correct? Is ruwach an ordinary wind? or a Being functioning as special wind? verse 4 is interesting... choshek is this ordinary darkness or a special darkness? We see light is TOV, so choshek must be RA, as contrast. Don't know about this? So how much of the 5 books of Moses are different from the 5 books KJV has in the Hebrew? Is it that different to be a salvation issue? I see the problem is one more of translation, rather than different letters or words of Hebrew. Give me some examples of serious Roman Editing, as you see it.

Maybe Rome copied them? 318 Bishops were in attendance – some from Rome – not the majority – not the leadership Church History - look it up John wrote the Book of Revelation to the churches in Turkey not Italy en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_PeterRome says Peter was sitiing on the Papel Throne in Rome from 30AD to 64AD - is this consistant with the Book of Acts? Isn't Peter in prison in Demascus in 52AD? - Stupid church history It is a Gnostic (and agl) colloquialism In America – we have a groups of people we call ‘The Fed, the Fuzz, Yanks, Rebs, New Yorkers, Texans, Why don’t we just call them Americans? – Because each is a distinctive sub-group within the whole. Archon – to the First Christians means authorities or rulers – because these entities are the authorities and rulers in their own realm (darkness / hades). Princes are included of course – so are Kings, Queens, demons, satan, the devil, 'other gods', evil spirits, - the bane elohiym and their archon/human demigod nephilium – and the rephiem All opposition forces are called the MOB / Mafia / the Tong = archon (bad guys) Islam calls them Jinn Jews call them Shedim – or Lillum www.coptic.net/CopticWeb/www.coptic.net/EncyclopediaCoptica/Queensland Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church - Calamvale St. Mary & St. Joseph Coptic Orthodox Church - Coopers Plains St. Mina & St. Anthony Coptic Orthodox Church - Helensvale St. Mary & St. Anthony Monastery - Kooralbyn St. Mary & St. Moses Coptic Orthodox Church - Norville St. Mark & St. George Coptic Orthodox Church - Strathpine

Interesting
www.coptic.net/articles/IntroToCopticChurch.txt Today, there are over 9 million Copts (out of a population of some 57 million Egyptians) who pray and share communion in daily masses in over 300 Coptic Churches in Egypt. This is in addition to another 1.2 million emmigrant Copts who practice their faith in over 100 churches in the United States, Canada, Australia, Britain, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Brazil, and many other countries in Africa and Asia.
How come some many articles you read, have Sunday School on them? Don't they keep Sabbath Saturday?
So what is different about their faith?

www.coptic.net/articles/CopticTheologyBites.txtWalking in the New Life ----------------------- Again we would say `If Adam died because of sin, He Who removed sin had to take away death too.' But just as Adam was told `The day you eat of the forbidden tree, you shall die,' but in fact he did not die; but rather he received a pledge of his death in the form of being stripped naked of the glory and his expulsion from Paradise, after which he was daily pondering on death. It is exactly the same with life in Christ: we have eaten His Body in place of the fruit of the Tree, and His altar has taken the place of the Garden of Eden for us; the curse has been washed away by His innocent blood, and in the hope of resurrection we await the life that is to come, and indeed we already walk in the new life, in that we already have a pledge of it. --St. Ephrem The Syrian This well written

So what is different about their faith? The inclusion of their Broader Canon The fact that they have never translated it - modified it - preserved it as origional The fact that they co-exist with pagans - peacfully like Christians - unlike Romen Cruisaders They look a lot more Christ-like through history than Rome ever could Respect Much of the First Christians were Egyptian Gnostics / Coptics Greek Gnostics didn't survive Rome - Egyptian Copts did --St. Ephrem The Syrian This well written Respect

I would agree the Roman system is corrupt with paganism and false teachings.
