Dillon
In 1970 I lost my brother in Vietnam. I understand your anger. He as MIA for over a year before we were notified that he was gone. Actually, what they meant was: they stop looking for him so he must be dead.
Our parents begged for information, but to this day we do not know where he was lost or how.
His death hurt our family in such a way that is impossible to understand. I though I was over my anger long ago, but it is still with me. Each time I hear of our military being screwed or all these stories about the VA being useless I still get angry. Mad at the Military and Obama is so easy to find fault with that it is hard to stop sometimes.
God Bless you and your family

Wow. Should Christians remain silent?
Christians were silent as they took prayer out of our schools, took the Nativity Scene out of public view, and we stood by and said nothing as the Gays took over our country. Now we will remain silent as the Muslims take over our country as well. Then we will be silent as they persecute us and kill us.
Does: 'Be not of the world' mean we should be politically active?
Remember when everyone thought that the RFID chip was the mark of the beast. Most Christians were afraid of it. I say bring it on. If you are a Christian that believes in the Bible, should we attempt to delay the end, or help it accelerate?
As a Christian, why would we want to wait for God's Kingdom to come?

Many people ask, why does God allow all the evil in the world? You ask, is God's will being done on Earth?
Read your Bible! How does it end? Tribulation so bad that God has to shorten the days! Now turn on the news and watch it for just one moment. Looks like God's plan is unfolding just as foretold.
Is God's will being done on Earth? YES

I also listen to Alex Jones sometimes. You are right about him screaming, scratchy voice, and sometimes he goes to far, way to far. But if you listen to him long enough, most of the stuff he reports is true enough.
Alex Jones talks a lot about FEMA Camps. There is one near me so I ask what it was for. The police told me it was for emergency preparedness. Like if there was an earthquake or some other major disaster. People need a place to go for food, medical attention, and shelter.
I am thinking of the people in Nepal. After their earthquake where did the people have to go for help. Either the people didn't know, or there was no place to go.
This makes perfect sense. As citizen I would want my government to be prepared.

You are right about people not believing that the Bible stories really happened.
Since you mentioned the Red Sea, I will tell you that several years ago in a Presbyterian Church outside of Dallas Texas the pastor there didn't even believe that the exodus from Egypt even happened. He taught that it was just a story told to make a point.
If the leaders of the Churches don't even believe those stories to be true how can they preach them to others.

All Energy/Matter are influenced by the causation of thought before configuring, manifesting as an observable effect in the plane at which the thought originated. Thus from thought all things are created, both by God and man.
WICA Rope magic
Have you guys ever heard of rope magic practiced by the white witches of wica? This is exactly how they describe it working. Multiple people all focused on the very same mental imagery. The combined power of all their thoughts focused upon one thing causes a reaction.
Group Prayer
Isn't this just like everyone in Church praying the same prayer? Everyone focused on the same mental imagery.

I know that part of the movie where Dakota Fanning fooled everyone. It is a really cool imagery. Why do you think that the owl is an important image? I have heard this about the owl. That many people who claim abduction remember an owl.
Is the owl a symbol of evil in some way?

I haven't read everything here and I do not understand much of what I did read. I find your conversation interesting and I follow you to a point, but there were no days yet?
I always thought that the word day and the 7 days week all came from Gen 1
I have even been to classes where the point is made that a day is night/morning not morning/night also from Gen 1

CIA Insider Breaks Silence on Global Currency Wars By MONEY MORNING STAFF REPORTS
Should China's plan to position the Yuan as a world reserve currency serve as a warning sign that something much more dangerous is approaching? According to Jim Rickards, the CIA's Asymmetric Warfare Advisor, the answer is yes.
In a startling interview he reveals that all 16 U.S. Intelligence Agencies have begun to prepare for World War III. Making matters worse, his colleagues believe it could begin within the next 6 months. However, the ground zero location for this global conflict is what makes his interview a must-see for every American.
Take a few moments to watch it below and decide for yourself. moneymorning.com/ext/articles/rickards/chinese-plan-to-destroy-us-dollar.php?iris=360112&ad=yuan2-position-bnyuan

Science speak - yech!
I watched the video and I read your comments. I am not sure if I am bright enough to say anything here.
The biggest thing I got from the video was the part when he makes the point that all the scientific mathematical formulas and vocabulary feel just as confusing and foreign as any discussion of ancient Greek. A vocabulary so designed that no one else can understand what is being said, or being fabricated.

I cannot respond anything intelligent about your discussion here, but it stirs a long held question of my own. I have never understood how in the Gen 1 both man and woman are form in God's image. But then in Gen 2 it appears as if God only made man alone then made Eve from his rib. Flesh of my flesh they say. This is why marriage is between one man and one woman because this is the only arrangement that equals a whole person in the eyes of the Lord.
If God created Adam from dust and then breathed in the life, how did Eve get her breathe of life, or does she even have one?

Sometimes in scripture the Heavens and the Earth mean, the Heavens and the Earth, literally.
Sometimes in scripture the term is used spiritually, ie. a higher level meaning, as in Heaven=ruling powers...earth= the subjects on the earth. This can be of the nation of Israel, or other ruling powers. For an example, Rev 12:1 speaks of a woman clothed with the sun(She is in power), with the moon under her feet(Subjects under her control), with a crown of stars.... symbols of the initial ruling power of the Christian Church under Constantine (~332AD). The church was supposed to be chaste(virgin) but she spiritually fornicated with the nations around and thus became pregnant with a man-child(Constantine), who was responsible for marrying together paganism with Christianity(which is why we have so much confusion nowadays!)...etc....
A good example of this heaven/Earth symbolism being used for Israel is in Jer 4:23:
Jer 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
The context that is establish in the first verse and throughout is speaking about Israel as a nation. Thu the prophet here is declaring the spiritual state of Israel, which was formless, void(without understanding).
The way to this understanding is through the Christ. The tabernacle/temple was a method of teaching the nation how to approach YHWH who dwells between the cherubim. This process is shown with starting in the outer court with Brass, a metal represent scriptural the flesh nature of man, which is opposite than the nature of YHWH himself.....Man learns he need to have this nature purified(purged), and as he approaches the Most Holy, the metals increase in importance of meaning...silver for redemption, Gold for refined, tried faith.
The mercy-seat is representative of the Christ. I believe also so do the other objects in the tabernacle have an element pointing toward the Christ, such as the veil separating the Holy from the Most Holy. Scripture teaches this veil represented the Flesh nature of the Christ. At his crucifixion, that Flesh nature was rent from top to bottom (Mark 15:38), which we are told opened the way for mankind to enter the Most Holy, through the same example as the Christ(Heb 10:20; 6:19 -20; 9:3 ), that is by self-sacrifice of our fleshly instincts(inclinations).
Scripturally, there is much evidence to support the view that the the Most Holy place represented the heavens(where YHWH dwells in complete perfection), and the outside of the Most Holy initially represented a divide(earth)...but now the WAY of proper approach(access) has been clearly demonstrated in the life, death and resurrection of the Christ.

WOW - there is an answer for ya
Thanks for your time
What you said is interesting, but I am not quite a believer in the evil spirit thing If there are that many evil spirits in this world it would seem like we would know it Wouldn't every church be spreading the word - yet we hear nothing about this
Why would evil spirits only inhabit deserted or abandoned buildings or why would an evil spirit be tied to a particular location. like when a ghost haunts a particular house or follows a particular person
You mentioned Ghost Hunters. I have watched many of these shows. None of them make an angelic or evil spirit connection.
Allah - you think him real huh?
and in other post here you also talk about Aliens are they also evil spirits?

I hope it is Ok that I start a new thread
Virginia mentioned ghost. It is on my mind as well
I spoke to my pastor about things I have seen, but there doesn't seem to be any room within Christianity to discuss ghost? My pastor thinks they are impossible. It is just trick of light and shadows. This is exactly the same cover up as all UFOs are swamp gas or weather balloons.
Both of my parents believed they had seen ghosts. My wife believes she saw a ghost. I am not sure what I saw, but I saw something and the biggest thing that made the experience real for me is the uncontrollable way I felt.
Just where do ghost fit into your Gnostic cosmology?
