Christendom says that the hierarchy in heaven =
The angels themselves are in 3 levels (trinity)
Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones - Tend the Throne of God
Dominions, Virtues, and Archangels - Govern creation
Angels, Powers, and principalities - are work staff - with principalities being the closest level to man
The Catholic view the hierarchy as:
Multiples of 3
The Gnostic difference
Archangels - Angels - Powers (one of which is the Chief Archon), Principalities (Archon) - Test the Visible
Catholic / Christendom view of the opposition
Gen 1:1 God created everything
Gap - one angel (satan) went bad - then corrupted of all the angels
Rome says satan inspires evil
Gnostic view
Gen 1:1 God created everything
Gap - the Chief Archon was responsible for darkness
therefore an archangel (Eleleth) said - 'Let someone reign over the chaos in Hades'
one angel volunteered / stepped forward (Sakla) to oversee the chaos in Hades
Gnostics say - it is the overseers job to keep the chaos in check
God told satan to test Job
it could have over with one move - BOOM!
no - it was restrained and played out in various ways over time
Am I saying the Gnostics see the overseerer as a good guy - NO
Just saying - he is God's servant
Roman Edit
The reality of the
Cherubim - is supported by 4 verses Gen 3:24; Ezk 28:14–16; Rev 4:8
Seraphim - is supported by Isa 6:1-3
Thrones - is supported by only Colossians 1:16
Dominions - Eph. 1:21; Col. 1:16
Powers, Principalities, or Rulers - Eph. 6:10, 12
The reality of the Archon is supported by volumes of literature
and discussed by 7 of the apostles in multiple texts
But - they don't exist?
