Did you know the World Trade Center that is being rebuild in New York will be called "The New World Trade Center".
Isn't it sneaky how they have now inserted the word "NEW" in the name.

I was looking at this myself.
Is the official name of the project "The New World Trade Center"? Or is it the new "World Trade Center"?

I am not sure but why don't they call it the re-built World Trade Center?

As a guy talking - New and Rebuilt mean entirely different things.
A rebuilt engine, transmission, water pump, etc, etc, all reuse the original parts.
A "new" engine, transmission, water pump, etc, etc, all have new (never been used before) parts.
This might be a terrible example, but it is all I can think of right now.

There is a difference between being paranoid - and being a realist. The official name of the soon to be completed tower is: "One World Trade Center" One World vrs New World - not much difference in implication is it? Attachments:
