Scientists are working on developing an egg without needing a chicken to lay that egg. Is this something you would buy or eat?
Maybe they would be better off spending their time making suire what we eat is not contaminated with pesticides or other hareful toxins.
Dr Oz did an experiment on his show on what happens to your blatter when you drink diet soda. It causes your blatter of begin to constrict or pulse and makes the blatter work overtime to expel the soda from the body. Are our bodies trying to tell us they do not like this substance and needs to get rid of it?
Our bodies are confused when we drink something sweet but is a substance we were not meant to eat, so the body says sugar but it is not sugar but a substance our bodies do not recognize. Does the body then store this substance as FAT?

I haven’t heard about synthetic eggs, but I did read an article years ago about stem cell research leading to re-grow muscle tissue. The speculation at the time was: if we can re-grow muscle tissue in the lab, the next step would be to grow perpetual beef steaks commercially.
Are our bodies telling us that they do not like the substances we consume – YES!
Diet sodas – for example – the can is lined with BPH that reduces sperm count in males (known) and Aspartame as the sweetener. Both of these substances alone are poisons. Regardless of the impact to “food allergies.”
Our livers are taking a beating! If you body runs across some foreign chemical, it clears it out of your body through your liver. Your liver de-toxifies all the poisons circulating in your blood supply. Soft drinks, diet soft drinks, processed foods, the carryover of herbicides and pesticides that end up on and in our foods, especially processed foods – and now GMOs
I have been in medicine for 22 years and in my time I have seen a person or two with liver failure. Years ago, each instance was obvious as to cause – drinking, drugging, Tylenol, and Viral Hepatitis. Today, we see many patients with complications of the liver, where the cause is unknown.
All of this is bad and scary. Damn those guys who are behind adding that crap to our food supply!
Wait a minute – those are the same guys that changed our agriculture output to feed 7 billion people, when just 100 years ago the agricultural system could only feed 3 billion people.
Either the 7 billion of us that are able to eat today need to educate ourselves, shop, and eat wisely – or they should have culled the herd years ago. It would have been easy then, just let the people starve.

Isn't that such a relevant point!
Which decisions would you choose: let people starve or try and genetically modify the food to grow stronger, bigger, and in harsher conditions, such as drought resistance.
Damned if you do - damned if you don't.
Look at the UFO issue - should our government come totally clean about what they know - or would we just blame the government for the chaos that would follow?

At one time there was talk about limiting the size of families and the religous community when beserk over it. I think the informed ones (you and I) will limit our exposure to these haerful toxins as best we can. We still need to breathe and our homes are full oif plastics but we can try to eat whole foods. Now something in beef other than chloresterol is causing heart attacks but need to do more research.
Stephen Hawkings is working with some stem cell scientists to see if they can help him. I sure hope so.

Gives a whole new meaning to: Go forth and be fruitful, doesn't it?
End time prophesy predict an overcrowded world straining for resources. One major set back and million will starve and then millions will speak up. But it will only force the crackdown by the government to manage the crises.

Several years ago I watched a tv show on what it was like to be living in Britian during WW2. People who had gardens had to give up a portion of their crops. Food was severely rationed. Everyone had to donate several hours each week either in hospitals or other places. I remember my mother having rations for sugar and other products. It was never enough.
Can you imagine what people would do if they could not get their latteas each day?
Imagine only having electricity several hrs each day?
I spent the first 12 yrs of my life without electricity, no running water, a shack with no siding or insulation. I would be better prepared to deal with it but my son or grand daughter---no.

I have an amazing friend from the Ukraine. He is in America now because he spent 4 years in a Russian prison for being a Christian. He left the Ukraine and moved to Austria, then Italy, and finally America. He is very well traveled thought out Europe.
We were talking about FAT people in America - my friend says only in America do you see so many overweight people - no where else. Because no one else can afford to buy food like we can. No one else has the options for variety like we do.
In a different story - I was talking to our Iranian friend Ali. You know the Muslums make their women wear burkas - to cover their face and skin - so another man would not be tempted sexually. I told him we just have McDonalds. We just send our women to McDonalds and eventually they don't stimulate other men either.
This is one of the reasons Ali dropped from this discussion board. Man - it must be hard to have sence of humor and be Muslum

I just read an article on Yahoo about a 18 yr old girl in the UK who for 13 yrs has eaten only ramon noodles. Doctors say she has the body of an 80 yr old women.
I just recently found out soy is a GMO food so that has altered my diet somewhat.
