Stella asked the question "What does all this other stuff have to do with Jesus and the Bible" and I want to try to answer her.
A one World Gov controlled by WHO. Probably the United Nations. The Powers that be would be able to rule as they see fit. Maybe that would not be so bad but part of the One World Gov also includes One World Religion. Here is where Stella would have a HUGH problem. I don't know what religion she follows but it may not be the one The One World Religion would command. Maybe decide Bible could not be read. Would a One World Religion be the religion of the majority. Would it be a new religion that is made up of parts of every religion.
Perhaps Jesus will return and set up his own New religion after the war between good and evil. The Bible warns us about the Devil and his plans for us. The Bible warns us about the mark of the beast. Perhaps Stella is to young to remember when all food will be BAR CODED. People felt this was part of the Mark Of The Beast and tryed to do everything they could to stop it but to no avail.
The Mark Of The Beast will not be 666 tattoed on our forehead but will probably be a computer chip in our hand. The new idea is to have EYE scans everyplace you shop to read your eyes. The Power That Be want all cash eliminated and every transaction will be thru the banks. There will be no credit cards either. All this will slip thru by telling people this will eliminate all credit card theft and people will think that is an excellent idea. Right now all Social Security checks MUST be direct deposite.
If every transaction is computerized ---what would stop this One World Gov from deciding to cancel your acct and you could not work, buy any food, pay a mortgage.
The Bible has tryed to warn us that all this stuff could be snuck in before we realize what is happening.
Where do Aliens and UFO's fit in. Is God over every planet and how does all this fit in. I don't know. Scientists are trying to find life elsewhere.
Scientists are trying to determine if their is life after death. The Bible says Yes.
The Bible has warned us of Wars and Rumors ofWars. All these things fortold in the Bible. So all this does have a relationship to Jesus and the Bible.
Would God let Earth be destroyed. I do not think so.
All this stuff does have to do with the Bible and maybe I have not been clear enough to point out how all this fits in.

All things are interconnected.
Change in any one item effects the whole. Disrupts the balance in nature.
"... all things are connected. What ever befalls the earth befalls the sons of earth. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. ... "
Chief Seralth (Seattle) in a letter to American President Franklin Pierce. 1854

Our focus should be building, then strengthening, our personal relationship with Christ.
Arn't you afraid that all this busy work, all this superfluous conversation, sidetracks you from spending your time on, or for, the Lord?

If being the best Catholic or Baptist is all that some folks need – then to them I say, “go for it!”
Speaking only for myself, I admit to you and myself. There are only a few truths I hold as absolutes. The rest blends into cosmology, theology, or whateverologies. One of these precious few truths is – when I wake up on the other side, all of this religion stuff will seem elementary. The last thing that could ever happen to me is to be carded for a specific denomination.
My walk with my maker is personal. I do not have to have membership to any organization to prove it.
I use to examine different denominations to determine which church NOT to be influenced by. I choose not to be a Jehovah Witness for many doctrinal issues. I choose not to be a Mormon. I chose not to be a Baptist. I choose not to be catholic. None of these “groups” fit my expectations from what I read in the scriptures. No one would ever criticize these choices - would they? It is my salvation. My responsibility!
Judith Myer has a large Televangelist network. I have friends that watch her religiously (pun intended). Then one day, our friend “ElfLord” sent me a video clip of her standing on stage in front of a very large audience. She was showing off her very large diamond ring. She said, ‘it was her reward for working so many years for the Lord.’ – I thought to myself – ya – ‘I hope you can ransom yourself out of hell with it.’
One of the things I discovered about Protestantism is that it is all supported by the commentaries of men 500 years ago. Men like Luther and Calvin! Both men responsible for many needless deaths. Calvin was so irritated by a Spanish Physician’s criticism; he had him burnt at the stake and gave orders to make it a, “slow fire.”
All lines of church history in funnel into one origin – Rome! After all, Rome is the center of it all – isn’t it? The “NAME” of the church there is St Peter’s and that is where the Pope lives.
Well surprise I reject all Roman based theology! Rome has lost its power to be my thought police.
Christ chose Peter. Peter chose Mark. Mark was the first Pope after Peter in the Coptic Church of Alexandria Egypt. All of the first four ecumenical counsels were presided over by Alexandrian Popes. At the 4th counsel there was a split in doctrinal differences, between two different Alexandrian leaders. Those that followed Arians believed Jesus was born mortal, but became divine after John baptized Him. The Alexandrian Church claimed Jesus divine from conception. The Alaxandrian Church, founded by Mark, broke away onto themselves and have had a continuous line of Popes since Mark. The Coptics became what we know as the Eastern Orthodox and the followers of Arians never came to much.
This allowed the Roman power investment group to claim Christendom for itself. Re-wrote history to fill in the gaps. Have had a violent history – and that is without doubt. Murder, power plays, and corruption all find themselves at home in Rome! Secret Police. Spys. Concerned in the internal workings of Governments. Becoming a government of its own of its very own country, with an army, and ambassadors. An Empire built upon penances and tributes to buy grandma out of hell.
I have had ENOUGH of praise the Lord and pass the Hat churchianity.
In the meantime, the Coptic church has lead a peaceful live with many of its members retreating into the desert for a more Monastic personal approach to their Savior. I long for the conviction and dedication required to live the Coptic Monastic life!
So, why all these other conversations?
It is funny you should ask this now because I just posted something from a Rabbi and the Jewish perspective: - Why have this conversation:
“Creation … Although this question is often discussed more by Bible critics than yeshiva students, its resolution may carry a significant spiritual message.”
There is so much more evidence for the Lord than Rome and Christendom has allowed us to see. Personally, I Love to see my Lord in all I discuss and do.

THE TANACH STUDY CENTER [http://www.tanach.org] Shiurim in Chumash & Navi by Menachem Leibtag Man definitely exists in a physical world in which he must confront nature and find his purpose within its framework (PEREK ALEPH). There, he must struggle with nature in order to survive; yet he must realize that God Himself is the master over all of these Creations. However, at the same time, man also exists in a spiritual environment that allows him to develop a relationship with his Creator (PEREK BET). In it, he can find spiritual life by following God's commandments while striving towards perfection. Should he not recognize the existence of this potential, he defaults to 'spiritual death' - man's greatest punishment.
Understanding man's potential to develop a relationship with God on the spiritual level, while recognizing the purpose of his placement in a physical world as well, should be the first topic of Sefer Breishit, for it will emerge as a primary theme of the entire Torah.Read more: ponderingconfusion.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=inc&action=display&thread=141#ixzz26PtkBPKS

Makes you wonder why the church started the anti-science war in the first place.
Maybe the church was afraid that if the population discovered on their own that God is everywhere and available to everyone, the population would no longer need the church to tell them what to think and what to believe.
Talk about a CONSPIRACY!

Our friend Ali said something to me in a personal email that says it all.
He was talking about the Catholics and Rome coming to iran to spread their brand of Saint "Whore-ship!"
Have you guys ever been inside a decrotive Catholic Cathedrial?
Thou shalt not make graven images of anything that is in heaven. (I read that somewhere, I wonder if the Catholics know the same verse?)

The Mormon church has talked about this. No statues or gold ornaments or ministers all decked out in robes and other garbs, No crowns seen in Morman churches. So why does the Catholic church do it. Was it that the catholic church adorned their churches inorder to entice people to want to come Why conduct service in Latin? Does not make sence to me.
