I take it you do not like Institute for Creation Science
www.icr.org/article/why-mosquitoes-attack-mystery-solved/
Their articles on mossies was brilliant
They support a fallen world
They support mozzies originally ate plant nectar, sensed CO2 and heat from plant flowers
Amazing.

Conclusion
The authors of the Nature study reached the same conclusion, stating that “haematophagy [blood-eating] of mosquitoes may have arisen from phytophagy [plant-eating].” Essentially, they are saying that mosquitoes originally had all of these tools to feed exclusively on flowers and not blood. From their evolutionary perspective, somewhere along a path of millions of years mosquitoes began to feed on blood by employing the tools they had already been using on flowers.
Natural selection - an evolutionary process
BOOM! – there is no way I accept EVOLUTION in any form
God created things – and they reproduce after their own kind – then they die
This is what God says – and this is what I believe with all my heart, mind, and soul
So what does science say

Mosquitoes live on plant nectar when not producing eggs.
Watch a male mosquito feeding on nectar in the video to the right.
All adult mosquitoes feed on the nectar or honeydew of plants to get sugar, and that provides enough nourishment for both males and females to live, but females also need to produce eggs. To create eggs, females need protein, which they get from the blood of animals. Only a few species of mosquitoes can store enough energy as larvae, to produce eggs when they’re adults, without needing a meal of blood.
The blood can come from humans, mammals, birds, reptiles or frogs, though most mosquitoes have a preference for a few particular sources. Some live near humans and bite them, while others choose livestock or animals first.
After the female mates, has her first meal of blood and lays her eggs, she begins looking for another drink of blood, to develop another batch of eggs without mating again. If she survives, she may do this several times in one summer.
All mosquitoes feed on nectar
Only females feed on blood to complete their reproduction process
And
www.ecolab.com/pages/common-types-of-mosquitoes
More than 3,000 species of mosquitoes inhabit the Earth, with about 176 of these species are found in North America. The most common mosquitoes in the U.S. are those of the Aedes, Culex, and Anopheles genera. Each has its own unique characteristic, and each has the potential to transmit various diseases.
Meaning the great variety of God’s creation
Each unique with deferring behaviors – diets – and host preferred blood meal target
God created a great variety of mosequetoes – and they reproduce after their own kind – then they die
there is no way I accept EVOLUTION in any form
