Dear Virginia,
I am not a Mormon. I know some Mormons and the ones I know are really good and nice people (I am sure that doesn't describe all of them, but just the folks I know). I don't really know a lot about Mormonism.
However, to my understanding only 'you' and God are suppose to know your spiritual name. I appreciate your boldness, but your question may come across as disrespectful. Although, if only 'you' and God are suppose to know it, how can the priest give it to you? Wouldn't that mean he knows it also?
You should do a YouTube search for: Former Mormon Ed Decker Goes to the Temple. In this video he says that his spiritual name was Joseph and his wife's name was Mary. He goes on to say that everyone there that day got the names of Joseph and Mary. It has been a while since i saw the video, but I think I remember him saying that everyone gets the names Joseph and Mary.
