I promised to review Roberts in-depth study on faith – but before I do – I asked Robert to explain to me the SDA different between those who believe and those who know (gnosis)
His only reply was to pretend the scripture does not exist
His study:
These three Hebrew words mean "faith", because they are related to each other.
'man' meaning 'faith'.
'amanuh' meaning 'faith'.
'aman' meaning 'faith'.
Manna is special food from heaven. Jesus has words in the Bible that has power which support us. Food also supports our body cells.
OK – nice sermon
Holding up a person's hands is supporting them. When you hold Jesus' hand you are supporting Him and He is supporting you.
OK – nice sermon
The correct picture for faith is support. Let's look at some contexts using faith:-
(Context 1) Mt 8:9 -10 In this context, is the general talking about his solider having faith in him, whatever that term means, or is his soldiers supporting the general by obeying what he says? The meaning of this word is about "support".
G4102 – πίστις – pistis - persuasion, that is, credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly constancy in such profession; by extension the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.
Obedience = support – OK = belief/faith
(Context 2)Mt 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little support? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
G3640 - ὀλιγόπιστος – oligopistos - incredulous, that is, lacking confidence
In this context, the men deal with mother nature in their own "human powers",
In the context – the men lacked confidence in their safety -
(Context 3)Mt 9:27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, (will you) support that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your support be it unto you.
Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped
In this context, the two blind men have known of a Holy Writing promise (Isa 35:5) about the Messiah opening the eyes of the blind, and are willing to support Jesus, who asks them for their support of His power which will soon flow through them.
You are a lot harder to follow here
Jesus saith to them, 'Believe ye that I am able to do this?' = G4102 = moral conviction, truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.
How is believe the same as to help hold up / support / prop up – Jesus need no help from anyone – only acceptance via belief
(Context 4)Ga 2:16 having known also that a man is not declared righteous by works of law, if not through the faith (G4102) of Jesus Christ, also we in Christ Jesus did believe, that we might be declared righteous by the faith (G4100) of Christ, and not by works of law, wherefore declared righteous by works of law shall be no flesh.'
G4102 –moral conviction, truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.
G4100 – πιστεύω - pisteuō - From G4102; to have faith, to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well being): - believe (-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with.
Ga 3:22 but the Writing did shut up the whole under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ may be given to those believing.
G4100 – to have faith, to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well being): - believe (-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with.
23 And before the coming of the faith, under law we were being kept, shut up to the faith about to be revealed,
G4102 –moral conviction, truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity..
G4102 –moral conviction, truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.
24 so that the law became our child-conductor—to Christ, that by faith we may be declared righteous,
G4102 –moral conviction, truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.
25 and the faith having come, no more under a child-conductor are we,
G4102 –moral conviction, truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.
In this context, Paul is speaking of two ways we can support GOD,
(1) one way is to do good works according to the teachings of the Bible, using our own human powers.
(2) Another way, is to allow "Jesus powers" into our soul.
We must support Jesus to be saved, who came down from heaven to earth as a human in order to Support us.
All I see in these verses is BELIEF / FAITH / MORAL CONVICTION / TRUTH / ASSURANCE
HYPOTHESIS: What does Faith mean?
BELIEF / FAITH / MORAL CONVICTION / TRUTH / ASSURANCE
INTRODUCTION: This study looks at a deeper and truer meaning of "Faith".
The Author had a careful look on the Internet for anyone understanding a truer meaning of "faith". Sure there are some good child like understandings of "faith", but none that presented "sola scriptoria" correctly.
Also few people could explain the term "faith" in their own words or personal experience at my local church.
Buy a dictionary = BELIEF / FAITH / MORAL CONVICTION / TRUTH / ASSURANCE
This study is NOT about knowledge or increasing pride because of so called superior knowledge. This word is the most important theme in all Scripture because the Holy Writings say, in the NT, that a person is saved by Jesus by their "Faith".
Correct – belief in YHWY and that Jesus Christ was the Messiah – that is all that is required
The Greek word believe (Greek: pisteuo) is a verb, Strongs 4100, and is a translation of the Hebrew word "aman" Strongs 539.
H539 – אָמַן - 'âman - properly to build up or support; figuratively to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain; once: - hence assurance, believe, be faithful, sure, surely, trusty, verified), (put), trust,
Correct – G4100 also translated as assurance –
Deu 28:66 (TLV) “Your life will hang in the balance before you; you will be afraid night and day, and you will have no assurance of your life.
Deu 28:66 (KJV) And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
G4100 – also translated as H1540 – גָּלָה - gâlâh - to denude, to reveal: - + advertise, appear, bring, captive (into captivity), disclose, discover, open, X plainly, publish, reveal, shew, surely, tell, uncover.
1Sa 3:21 (TLV) And Jehovah addeth to appear in Shiloh, for Jehovah hath been revealed unto Samuel, in Shiloh, by the word of Jehovah.
1Sa 3:21 And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
G4100 also translated as – to put trust in / trust / trusted
Job 4:18 (TLV) If He puts no trust in His servants and accuses His angels of error,
Job 4:18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
Job 15:15 (TLV) If He puts no trust in His holy ones, if even the heavens are not pure in His eyes,
Job 15:15 (KJV) Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.
Job 15:31 (TLV) Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself; for emptiness will be his reward.
Job 15:31 (KJV)Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.
Isa 7:9 (TLV) The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If you do not trust, you will not stand.”
Isa 7:9 (KJV) And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.
Dan 6:24 (TLV) Then the king was overjoyed, and ordered Daniel taken up out of the den. So Daniel was lifted out of the pit. No injury of any kind was found on him because he had trusted in his God.
G4100 also translated in the KJV as – to be sure
Job 24:22 (KJV) He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
G4100 also translated as heard
Jer 25:8 (TLV) Therefore thus says Adonai-Tzva’ot: “Since you have not heard My words,

This is probably the only NT writing that links by cross reference the Greek translation in the NT with the Hebrew in the OT:-
Ro 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed (Greek: pisteuo) God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
BELIEF / FAITH / MORAL CONVICTION / TRUTH / ASSURANCE / to TRUST / to be sure / heard
Here is the Sola Scriptoria definition of "Faith", a term used widely in the NT, written in the OT, using two Hebrew words: The verb "take" is the Hebrew word "laqach" meaning "to take", and has two Hebrew words spelt the same, a "verb and noun" form. Both of these forms have the same meaning but different senses of actions, as all Hebrew words spelt the same as "verb and noun" forms.
So when a beginner first gets started in Jesus, you would expect the Holy Writings to use "beginner" like words, that a "common man" understands.
Then why do you play word games and argue word meanings?
The concept of a "good" or functional Holy Spirit, also implies a dysfunctional Holy Spirit. Is there a Holy Writing for this idea?
Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (KJV)
The Holy Spirit administrates both functional and dysfunctional flows into mankind. Notice:-
WOW - what a different argument you make on your web-site than mine
Which view is yours? The one you write – or the one you protest
Faith is really about who is supporting you, and how you support His support?
Why do you support - satan as a god?
Why do you support - denial of the spirit
Why do you support – trying to hide away the archon
Why do you support – trying to deny the baptism of the Hoy Spirit
Why do you support – denying One True God
CONCLUSION: The general term "faith" actually is a concrete term in Hebrew meaning "support". Faith is a community reference to one supporting another, and can refer to the way God supports us, or how humans support God, by allowing His words of creative power to flow through us. This is promised in Jesus, because Jesus is the "Word" or "Man" personified.

Why do you support - denial of the spirit

The Author is saddened to find SDA Church leaders have not investigated the "spiritual lessons" of this "wonder from Jesus", nor do they want to investigate because they may be full of pride and their own Baal Master powers of self fill them with scholarship about Jesus, but the relationship with Jesus, they do not experience. Indeed if one looks over the Internet for anyone defining "faith" correctly, there appears to be nobody who understands.
You deny the spirit – what is a spiritual lesson to you?
Question: "What is the definition of faith?"
Answer: Thankfully, the Bible contains a clear definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1: Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Simply put, the biblical definition of faith is trusting in something you cannot explicitly prove. This definition of faith contains two aspects: intellectual assent and trust. Intellectual assent is believing something to be true. Trust is actually relying on the fact that the something is true
Correct – FAITH = belief held with conviction – I agree with you 100%
Faith is belief in something intangible
All of the Patriarchs and Prophets of the ahl walked and talked with God in person
They no longer believed in something intangible – thy experienced tangible fact
Elisha’s servant could not see – it was intangible for him
Elisha – could see – it was very tangible / real / Fact
This account is typical of many websites out there, but notice, they do not describe "how one gets faith".
Belief – you have to believe
How does the Inspired Hebrew English translator describe "faith" to us?
At all times and in all places, in all sorrows and in all afflictions, when the outlook seems dark and the future perplexing, and we feel helpless and alone, the Comforter will be sent in answer to the prayer of faith.
Correct – after the fact – when you pray for it
Circumstances may separate us from every earthly friend; but no circumstance, no distance, can separate us from the heavenly Comforter. Wherever we are, wherever we may go, He is always at our right hand to support, sustain, uphold, and cheer
Correct – absolutely contradictory to your Unbra Shadow where God is blocked
That prayer which comes forth from an earnest, believing heart is the effectual, fervent prayer that availeth much.
DO YOU BELIEVE? You argue against belief in the spirit and the spiritual
God does not always answer our prayers as we expect, for we may not ask what would be for our
Correct – you will never receive that which you doubt – it requires belief / Faith
DISCUSSION: Consider some good comments in this study of scores of verses.
YES – everything you say about belief is correct – FAITH is belief held with conviction
Many Catholics and Mormons have faith in their beliefs
Many pagans and Muslims have faith in their beliefs
All that is all that is required is belief in YHWY and that Jesus Christ was the Messiah
What about
AFTER THEW RESURRECTION JESUS APPREAED TO THE DISCIPLES
Question for Robert – did the disciple believe in Jesus as the Messiah after the Resurrection? Yes or No – please decide
I say – YES – they did absolutely believe – Thomas saw the holes in the body of Jesus = 100% belief
Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Luk 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
Luk 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
Luk 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Luk 24:48 And ye are witnesses of these things.
Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
If they believed in Jesus Christ as the Messiah – why did Jesus ask them to wait in Jerusalem – for the promise Jesus promised to send them
What is this promise?
Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Joh 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
What is this promise Jesus promised to send them - ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost
Act 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
Act 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
If the disciples were believers – why the baptism of the Holy Spirit
Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Act 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
If the disciples were believers – why the baptism of the Holy Spirit
Over and over Robert asks this of me – what do you mean – spirit
So – you tell me Robert
Please explain to me the SDA difference between the believers of Jesus Christ
And those who have been BORN AGAIN by the BAPTISM of the HOLY SPIRITAnd for Robert's idea – it is a long slow process
I say – all the people at the temple were JEW – there for a Jewish Feast
And they all left there Christians that very day!
Gnostic difference between believers and (gnosis)
Believers believe it is true – and beliefs can change
(gnosis) = knowledge that it is true – knowing something as fact – and facts never change
Something is not explained by Dave?
You know my answer – you do not like my answer
Elisha – could see – spiritually discern
Elisha’s servant – could not
Why – what was/is the answer
Elisha – was/is a spirit filled Born Again Christian – he was spiritually awake / aware
Elisha’s servant was not
Does this means that Elisha’s serve is not a believer – I doubt it
You have never answered about 2 Kings 6 – true story of fact – or fiction
Paul met Christ face to face – Boom he gnosis for ever
You have failed to answer if Paul’s experience was Fact or Fiction
Moses – saw the bush – heard the voice – witnessed the glory and saw the back
What about Moses – Fact or fiction? How is that possible if after receiving Jesus, I do not see a spiritual body that is ethereal – like the angels, all I see in my old body after my baptism into Jesus?
Something is not explained by Dave?
You deny the spirit - you deny the Comforter - you deny the concept of spiritual reborth - you mock the teaching and those you express it

And those who have been BORN AGAIN by the BAPTISM of the HOLY SPIRIT
I say – all the people at the temple were JEW – there for a Jewish Feast
And they all left there Christians that very day!
Gnostic difference between believers and (gnosis)
Believers believe it is true – and beliefs can change
(gnosis) = knowledge that it is true – knowing something as fact – and facts never change
How is that possible if after receiving Jesus, I do not see a spiritual body that is ethereal – like the angels, all I see in my old body after my baptism into Jesus?
Something is not explained by Dave?
Something is not explained by Dave?
You deny the spirit - you deny the Comforter - you deny the concept of spiritual reborth - you mock the teaching and those you express it
And you wonder why it isn't working for you
