so you replace it with health guru witch doctor voodooThe truth of a long life -
it is all in the genesIf man and dad lived to be 100 - your chances are great
If you dad dies at 55 from a heart disease - the son is at risk
If mom died from breast cancer - the daughter is at risk
Of course you can commit suicide anytime you want
I committed my suicide by smoking – can’t erase that
But – I will not go anywhere – until God is done with me
And when I return to heaven – I will wear all my sin as shame before the Lord – can’t erase that either
So how amazing is the offer of the Divine Pardon – salvation from OUR OWN SELF – through Christ
It is so simple – die in Christ and when your spirit stands before the Lord – God says, 'I know you Prodigal Son – welcome to your real home with your real father where you are always safe from the world'
If God has a plan for you - a den of lions or a burning furnace or 3 days in the belly of a 'Big Fish' - will not cause you harm
If God calls you home - GOOD BYE
History – arsenic will cure your syphilis – it was used for centuries
Blood-letting is counterproductive in all cases except pernicious anemia
And medicine once called 1263 different diseases Consumption
Man is so weak – man is so easily manipulated – we in American call them democratic voters

Two examples of cultural miss-perception1- In the 1960s – big executives - wall street types – CEOs – were known to have ulcer surgeries
Some men – had 3 to 4 surgeries over a life time
Cause – the public always blamed it on stress
The more stress = increased risk of ulcer
Spas and resorts were opened for the executives to get away and relax
Golfing – was prescribed as a relief
Truth – ulcers are caused 99% of the time by a bacteria called – heloibacter pylori
Since the 80s – a simple anti-biotic solves it all
2 – Cholesterol and heart disease
1970s – arterial-sclerosis dominated the debate about cholesterol
The normal range of cholesterol in 1970 was 330mg/dl
To address al this heart disease the normal range changed to a more healthy 220mg/dl
Result – everyone has a cholesterol problem
1980s – the march against saturated fats was waged – and every health guru signed on
1990s – the argument changes to unsaturated fats – and every health guru signed on
2000s - the argument changed to trans-fats – and every health guru signed on
2010s – Cholesterol levels in man and the rate of arterial-sclerosis remains the same
End Result – everyone has a cholesterol problem and most people NEED a statin drug that harms your liver and kidneys
End Result - there are a variety of health gurus to choose from
