Calvin has Christians believing in dispensation – a time for everything
Gnostics, Jews, and Christians look forward to a time when Jesus is our King here on earth
All three use terms like – in the age to come
Gnostic Literature from the Nag hammadi clearly state that God created time into different ages called aions (just a Greek word meaning = an age, an unspecified period of time)
English example: Back in the age of the dinosaur – or the dawning of the new age of Aquarius
Also used as – during the time of the American frontier / or how about those things that happened ‘circa’ 1920
Gnostic First Age / aion
Gen 1:1 – God created – at it began
Gen 1:2 – choshek entered creation
Gen 1:3 – God created the “LIGHT” as the solution / salvation
In 3 verses we are given an entire Genesis to Revelation theology
Christians call this same time period THE GAP
Because a lot went on during this time period / age / aion
Jer 4 gives us just a glimps of what went on – before “LIGHT” before “man”
Most Christians will tell you that their satan ‘fell’ at this time
Many Christian also accept that ‘war’ of Rev 12:7 happened at this time
And that explains for them how the Serpent could exist for Eve

God created Adam and Eve and placed them in Eden

Noah eventually was the salvation for all mankind

The family of Noah repopulated the earth
Choshek entered because to man Nimrod became more important that God
Man began to “FORGET” what they knew before the flood

Eventually Jesus Christ comes as the salvation for all mankind

Christ came and gave us the Gospel and Mat 5:18-20 validates the Torah
Rome takes over owenship of the Gospel and removes Judaism from The Catholic faith
Edits the agl – edits the OT – moves the Sabbath to Sun day
Someday soon – Christ will return and once again be the salvation for all mankind
Gnostics say – this is a cyclic event
What happen in the first age – is simply repeated in the Second – and again in the Thrid

Who is thrown into the Lake – the Beast, satan, and the false prophet who all caused the choshek in all the previous ages

Perhaps the New Heavens and Earth is the last age – the promised age to the faithful

Rev 21:5 And he that sitteth on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
How is old earth and heaven destroyed and new heaven and earth created?
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that day the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything done on it shall be exposed.
