Dave, On the Ancient Hebrew ProBoards Forum, I posted a long list of Christian Gnostic movies and documentaries, like ones about Simon Magus, Mary Magdalene, the apostle Thomas, and a others like The Holy Mountain (1973) and I, Pet Goat II. But now the Ancient Hebrew Forum (http://ancient-hebrew.proboards.com/board/) is down. I don't know if you happened to keep the list. I don't know if there is any way to get the list back, either.
Peace.

No – I don’t have a copy Funny – Rod was just referring to Simon Magnus. I want to make a distinction here between myself as a Gnostic Christian – and Ancient Gnosticism. Ancient Gnosticism is an eclectic collection of non-roman religion If Iraenus didn’t like something – he labeled it Gnostic Valentinus was 100% Roman Catholic until passed over as Bishop of Rome There was (and is) a Gnostic Sethian movement Gnostic Christianity – Christ Centered – agl authors – John, James, Peter, Philip, Thomas From within the Nag Hammadi Information shared with the disciples after the resurrection Many text claiming to be hidden and saved for the end of days Found 1945, Dead Sea Scrolls (War Scroll also 100% Gnostic) found 1947 – Israel 1948 I am moved by the timing – intrigued Much of the vocabulary is the same – but I do spend time with text outside of the Nag Hammadi – which has lead me to a much better understanding of the Jewish Kabbalah and how very Christian it is I uses these resources a lot – hope it helps www.sacred-texts.com/index.htmwww.gnosis.org/welcome.htmlwww.gnosis.org/library/dss/dss.htm

FYI, Gnostic Christian writings that I have been looking into include (as listed in terms of their topic, chronologically):
Apocalypse of Adam Thunder, Perfect Mind (seemingly about Eve and Sophia) Epistle of Eugnostos Sophia of Jesus Christ (seemingly a sequel to Eugnostos' Epistle) Gnostic Apocalypse of Peter (seemingly from the mid-2nd century or later) Apocryphon of James
