I do not support any "End Times" ministries. In fact I think the way in which many End Times ministries are conducted they actually do the Christian faith a disservice.
Matthew 24:36 (ASV) But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.
Mark 13:32 (ASV) But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
The Millerites were the followers of the teachings of William Miller, who in 1833 first shared publicly his belief that the Second Advent of Jesus Christ would occur in roughly the year 1843.
1844 is known as the year of the great disappointment in any Church based upon the Seven Day Adventist Church, who continues to preach Miller's doctrine
Charles Taze Russell - founder of the Jehovah's Watchtower Movement (Jehovah's Witness) said that the Second Advent was to happen in 1914 - the beginnings of WWI drove millions into his congregation - but nothing happened. He changed his prediction to 1918 - and the end of WWI drove millions more into his Congregations. Russell died in 1916, but his successor, General Rutherford (who was never a general) refined the prediction in 1925 to say that "Millions today will never have a physical death, because this is the generation of the rapture" - that generation is almost gone.
Harold Camp was wrong in 1994 and in 2011
So - I do not support any end times "PREDICTION"
A generation and 1948
Matthew (ASV) 24:32 Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh;
33 even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.
This verse has caused much speculation from the world of Roman cosmology
Because Rome says the Fig Tree is Israel and Israel became a Nation once again in 1948
1948 + 40 = 1988 yrs (a generation in the wilderness with Moses) - nothing happened
1948 + 70 years = 2018 - I first heard this sermon by a guy from Ireland, but for the life of me I cannot remember his name)

"Let us consider ancient Israel, which served and was held captive by Babylon for seventy years. While in captivity, the Jewish prophet Daniel perceived, from the writings of the prophet Jeremiah, that the captivity would last seventy years (Daniel 9:2; Jeremiah 25:11). Following the seventy years, Babylon and its king were punished (25:12-14). More importantly, the exiled Israelites were brought back to the land of Judah, where God prospered them (29:10-14). Furthermore, their temple was rebuilt after they returned (Ezra 6:3,15).
History tends to repeat itself, and numerous prophecies in the Bible have had and will have multiple cases of fulfillment. Most would agree that “Babylon the Great” will be associated with the end-time kingdom of the Antichrist and, ultimately, will be destroyed (Revelation 14:8, 16:19, 18:2). It will be vanquished by Jesus, the Son of God, following His return to earth.
In effect, Israel has returned to bondage under “pagan Babylon,” perhaps again for 70 years. Since 1948 + 70 = 2018, could this be a period of spiritual “Babylonian captivity” for Israel that ends in 2018?"
IF 1948 is the starting point then I would use 120 years:
Gen 6:3 And Jehovah said, My spirit shall not strive with man for ever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.
1948 + 120 = 2068 - if nothing happens by 2069, what credibility will the Christian faith have left? Possibly after this time we will see the implications of Mathew 10:34
