If you thought tracking every phone call and every e-mail or other communication we make was bad---well just know this.
Every police car now is equipped with a tracking device that records every license plate off your car as the police car is behind you on the road or parked at Walmart or just parked in your driveway.
This tracking device is like GPS and can tell the police where your car was at anytime they want to know. This info can be stored up to a year. If there is a burgulery in your neighborhood the police will just see who was in your neighborhood at the time of the crime.
Now at first glance this may sound good but you know this will be misused.

I also heard yesterday that if you have a internet capable phone, as soon as you walk into a a large department store, the store downloads your internet history so they know what you like.
If a store has X number of people in their store that like the same thing, the store immediately announces a 'blue light special' for that product.
Between your internet usage and your purchase they can better stock the store with things you will come back to buy. Therefore, if this logic holds true, more and more stores will begin to look alike.
Everyday we must realize that George Orwell was a brilliant man.
