OUTBREAK??OMG - run for your lives !!!!! 14 dead and a possible 6 more cases = 20 Realistically - how many people right now in Phoenix have communicable diseases just as deadly. Greenville hospital warns of rare brain disease
Associated Press, By JEFFREY COLLINS, Last modified: 2012-07-31T15:11:22Z, Published: Tuesday, Jul. 31, 2012 - 8:10 am
COLUMBIA, S.C. -- A hospital is Greenville is warning 11 brain surgery patients they might have been exposed to a rare brain disease that is always fatal.
The Greenville Hospital System said Tuesday a patient who had surgery in February was later diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease. Officials say 11 more patients came in contact with surgical instruments used on the sick patient.
The hospital says the instruments were sterilized, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends additional sterilization if Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease is suspected. The disease can only be verified through an autopsy.
The CDC says the disease affects about 300 people in the United States annually, and there has never been a case involving transmission through surgical instruments.
Hospital officials say they are warning people out of an abundance of caution.
If you want to be afraid of something - be afraid of what they are not telling you.
1000s may die from ebola. I live in the Colorado outback. If people sleep in a tent in bear country, with a large supply of yummy bear treats in the picnic basket - you are just going to have a bear problem. I you live in an area where people drink the same water that their cows crap in - you are going to get sick!
Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease
Have you ever heard of this disease before? It is mad cow disease! England made farmers destroy 1000s of cows to get rid of it. World news day after day - but who remembers that.
Why isn't medicine and our leaders screaming about Mad Cow disease - 300 Americans every year (meaning 30,000). AND this is the difference. Ebola is harmful to the medical staff - so the wrong class of people are dying. With Mad Cow - the cattelmans association lobbied to keep the ranchers financially alive - and to keep the fast food hamburger a daily staple. People with mad cow look like Alzhiemers - these patients require mega $$$$$$$$ medical dollars for treatment and care - for years and years. Ebola patients just die.

A prisoner in Uganda has escaped from the hospital. How many people will he infect before he is caught? CDC today say New Swine Flu is on the rise. I did not know there is a NEW one? During the Black Plague some people died but others that were exposed did not die. There was a study done and scientist went to an isolated village in England and did a study. Family's who had ancesters that died and ancesters that lived---well they found theones who lived had an extra chromoson. People say they saw beings spraying a mist over the wheat just before the outbreak of the plague. That is where the title of GRIM REAPER came from.

Is the Plague a Health Problem Today in the United States?
In the United States, the last urban plague epidemic occurred in Los Angeles between 1924 and 1925. Since then, human plague in the United States has occurred as scattered cases in rural areas (an average of 10 to 20 people are infected each year). Most human cases of plague in the United States occur in: Northern New Mexico Northern Arizona Southern Colorado
Worldwide, there are 1,000 to 3,000 cases of plague each year. During the 1980s, epidemic plague occurred each year in Africa,
In my 22 years for being in the lab - I know of 2 cases - One in Salida Colorado and one in Trinidad Colorado.
The Plague is not something from the past - it is alive and well. Remember, I said if you drink the same water yo crap in - you are at risk for disease! France had more rats than cats - they threw their crap into the streets and let the rain wash it away. Central sewers? - Clean water? They didn't understand what they were doing to themselves.

Uganda Facing Setbacks In Fight Against HIV/AIDS.
The New York Times (8/3, A5, Kron, Subscription Publication) says that after an initial "success story" in Uganda on the battle against HIV/AIDS, Secretary Clinton arrived in the nation yesterday with the outlook now "not so bright." A recent US-funded survey finds that "Uganda is one of only two African countries, along with Chad, where AIDS rates are on the rise. The reversal is particularly disappointing to health experts given the time and attention that have been focused on AIDS here, and the billions of dollars spent." The Times notes that in some areas, a third of Ugandans are infected with HIV, raising questions about the US AIDS-prevention strategy in the country. The Times adds that health professionals blame "Uganda's government for becoming complacent."
If HIV is so terrible, as we were all convinced 10 years ago, so, why would the WHO allow Uganda to go unchecked?

Drug Resistant Strains of AIDS Growing In Parts Of Africa.
The New York Times (7/24, McNeil, Subscription Publication) reports, "In a worrying sign for the course of the AIDS epidemic, resistance to antiretroviral drugs is increasing in parts of Africa, according to a new study by the World Health Organization and University College London. The report, published online Monday by The Lancet, summarized data from more than 200 smaller studies performed in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Drug resistance was serious only in eastern and southern Africa, and mostly involved a class of medications called non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors."
The answer -- to allow new and drug resistant stains to develope -- why? 2 reasons - 1. HIV is necessary to scare the plublic - our very own plauge to let out and then reel in as needed to manipulate the population. 2. To use this HIV threat to change social attitudes.

Advocates Assert Legalizing Prostitution Would Lower HIV/AIDS Infection Rates. The Washington Times (8/3, Wetzstein) reports that groups promoting "worldwide legalization of the world's oldest profession" as way to "prevent HIV/AIDS infections, got a boost" from a new report released by the Global Commission on HIV. The report recommends repealing laws that prohibit prostitution "because they fail to protect women and instead drive at-risk people away from healthcare services. 'Rather than punishing consenting adults involved in sex work, countries must ensure safe working conditions, and offer sex workers and their clients access to effective HIV and health services and commodities,'" said the commission which is "backed by the United Nations Development Program and Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS." The commission also lauded Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) because she "introduced a bill to remove 'anti-prostitution' language from the President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief."

You cannot pray in school or at any government function. Almost every TV show on today promotes a gay life style. Same sex marrage.
Now legalize prostution?
It does appear that the trend is to become more and more God less.
